Purpose

Responsible for development of IRIS web UI, ensuring good quality and timeliness of deliverables, good code quality, and appropriate implementation of UX messages.

Critical Drivers for Success

- UI developer will be responsible for development and quality of the UI for all new features coming up in IRIS.
- Ensure that new technologies along with best industry practices are adhereed to.
- Ensure that UI developed is responsive and compatible with relevant browsers.
- UI Developer will work closely with the rest of the technology and IRIS team to build UI for all IRIS implementations, integration with backend REST APIs.
- Upgradation of existing systems / codebases to newer technologies

Technical Competencies (Required)

Build and finalise the IRIS UI as per mockups provided by our design team,.

Proficiency in HTML and CSS to build robust UI as per requirements and contemporary standards.

Proficiency in Javascript to UI build functionality as per requirements.

Proficiency in Javascript frameworks to build single page and responsive web applications.

Ideate with design team and requirements understanding to propose efficient UI designs.

Experience of working with REST API standards to effeciently integrate with backend services.

Knowledge of basic working of web technologies, the www, and the HTML protocol to build efficient web application clients.

Knowledge of data structures to build efficient and quality web applications.

Participation in design discussions and peer code reviews

Experience of working in Agile model
