Key Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Monitor and manage daily liquidity positions to ensure sufficient funding across business entities
- Optimize cash utilization to maximize interest income
- Monitor bank charges and identify opportunities to improve banking cost efficiency
- Ensure timely execution of treasury transactions and adherence to internal controls and policies.
Cash Forecasting
- Prepare and submit daily cash flow forecasts, highlighting FX requirements, working capital needs, liquidity risks, and foreign exchange exposures.
- Develop and maintain a rolling 9-week cash flow forecast, ensuring accuracy through regular review and updates.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Commercial, Trade Finance, and other stakeholders to gather and validate forecast inputs.
- Analyse cash flow trends and provide actionable insights to management on liquidity, working capital, and cash optimization opportunities.
- Build a strong understanding of business operations and market dynamics to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Support investment decisions by identifying surplus cash opportunities and executing approved transactions in accordance with delegated authorities.
Foreign Exchange (FX) Management
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly FX exposure reports.
- Execute and record FX transactions within the Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Monitor currency exposures and support FX risk management activities in line with treasury policies.
- Liaise with banking partners to obtain market intelligence and competitive FX pricing.
Banking Facilities Management
- Lead the discussions of working capital facilities, bank guarantees, and Letters of Credit (LCs).
- Coordinate facility renewals, documentation, and compliance requirements with banking partners.
- Negotiate banking terms, FX rates, and service charges to optimize financial outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and act as a key point of contact for treasury-related matters.
- Ensure timely submission of all treasury and banking documentation.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of Treasury Management Systems, Sigma Integration and related processes.
- Participate in weekly and monthly treasury and liquidity review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal treasury policies, and governance standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance treasury efficiency, controls, and reporting capabilities.
- Leading the Signatory changes & online banking access updation with banks
- Support ad hoc treasury projects and strategic initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, or Financial Risk Management.
- Experience within commodities, energy, trading, or multinational environments is advantageous.
- Robust understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, working capital management, and foreign exchange operations.
- Familiarity with banking products, trade finance instruments, and treasury best practices.
- Experience using Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
