Position: Trainer/ Senior Trainer

Department: Faculty of Computing and Intelligent Systems

Role Summary:

The Trainer/Sr. Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foundational and intermediate areas of computing, networking, and programming. The role focuses on hands-on training, student mentoring, and curriculum delivery, ensuring learners acquire practical competencies aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver classroom and lab-based training in networking fundamentals, system troubleshooting, programming (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++), DBMS, and Full stack development.
- Design and implement practical exercises, assessments, and projects to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Evaluate student performance through continuous assessments, examinations, and project reviews.
- Provide individual mentorship and academic support to students requiring additional guidance.
- Assist in the development and periodic revision of course materials, lab manuals, and training modules.
- Maintain lab infrastructure, including network setups, workstations, and setup new lab.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant trends into teaching practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and institutional development activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science,



Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of academic or industry training experience in computing disciplines.
- Robust proficiency in:
- Networking concepts (OSI/TCP-IP models, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting).
- System troubleshooting (hardware/software diagnostics, log analysis, performance tuning).
- Programming languages (at least two: Python, Java, C++, or C).
- DBMS and Full Stack Development will be given added weight.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Desirable (Advantageous) Skills:

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to full-stack development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, Node.js, databases).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
- DevOps implementation experience (containerization, orchestration, monitoring, automation).
- Cybersecurity specialization (network security, encryption, vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking, risk assessment, compliance frameworks, incident response).
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, Microsoft Azure Administrator, RHCE, CEH, or PMP will be given added weight.
