The PDP Group is looking for a Trainee Executive – Operations for its Durgapur branch, an Inland Container Depot (ICD) in West Bengal. The role will support day-to-day container movement and operational activities, ensuring smooth coordination between various teams and timely execution of operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and coordinate Consignment Note (CN)-related activities to facilitate the smooth and timely movement of containers.
- Ensure that container seals are properly checked and maintained in accordance with operational requirements.
- Monitor and manage entry and exit areas to ensure a smooth and orderly flow of vehicles and containers.
- Coordinate with drivers, yard personnel, security, and other concerned teams for the efficient movement and handling of containers.
- Identify and promptly escalate operations-related issues, discrepancies, or delays to the concerned supervisors/authorised personnel.
- Follow established safety, security, and operational procedures while carrying out day-to-day activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and transportation operations will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a field/operational environment.




- Willingness to work rotational day and night shifts.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow operational processes.

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or related fields will be preferred.
- Freshers may apply.

Experience

- 0–1 year of experience in logistics, transport, terminal, warehouse, or related operations will be preferred.
- Fresh graduates with an interest in operations may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
