Responsibilities

- Assist the Sales/ Trading Desk in pricing financial markets products like Foreign Exchange Spot, Foreign Exchange Swaps, Foreign Exchange Forwards, Currency Options and Derivatives which may involve the use of Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, other financial product pricers.

- Assist the desk in monitoring risk against regulatory and internal limits.

- Responsible for generating daily MIS and regular reporting for the desk.

- Assists the desk in capturing trades in the front office systems which may involve the use of different booking systems.

- Manage the dealing pad and reconciliation of deals with Front Office systems

- Assist the desk in communicating with financial intermediaries and clients.

- Assist the Desk Heads and Department Head on specific projects, marketing efforts (like presentations, pitch books) and analysis of financial/ economic data.

- Assist the Desk Heads to work on internal memos, product papers, pricing models, etc.

- Liaise with internal teams like Middle Office, Back Office, Coverage, Trade with regard to desk requirements.





Requirements

- Starting
- Minimum level of study: Postgraduate degree MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

- Training / Specialization: Management degree in Finance/CA or equivalent. 0-2 years of financial markets experience.

- Minimum experience level: 0-2 years

- Skills needed: Ability to communicate clearly and easily Ability to analyze and summarize Rigour and sense of organization Apprehension of results and priorities Ability to work across disciplines

- IT tools: Required: MS Office (Advanced Excel, Advanced Presentation, Word) Desired: Basic Programming skills Basic Product Knowledge (Financial Markets)

- Languages: English
