Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging German language lessons in accordance with the school’s academic curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teach German language skills including reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and other instructional resources.
- Create an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to communicate confidently in German.
- Assess students’ academic progress through classwork, assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ performance, attendance, and academic development.
- Provide appropriate academic support and remedial assistance to students who require additional guidance.
- Introduce students to German culture, traditions, literature, history, and contemporary life wherever relevant to the curriculum.
- Encourage participation in language-related activities, competitions, presentations, cultural programmes, and school events.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure adherence to the school’s rules, policies, and professional standards.
- Use appropriate digital tools and educational technology to enhance language learning and student engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic progress and areas requiring improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the academic leadership team for curriculum planning,
assessment, and other academic requirements.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programmes, workshops, orientations, and other school activities.
- Maintain professional conduct and uphold the values, policies, safeguarding requirements, and standards of the school.
Academic & Qualified Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German / German Language / German Literature or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per the applicable recruitment criteria.
- CTET/TET qualification, wherever applicable.
- Relevant teaching experience in a recognised school will be preferred.
- Strong command of the German language with good written and spoken communication skills.
- Proficiency in English for effective classroom and professional communication.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
