The Therapy Technician at HYOX – Integrated Health will be responsible for operating and assisting with various therapy equipment and machines offered at the centre. The role will involve preparing therapy rooms and equipment, assisting clients during sessions, following safety protocols, and ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of therapies under the guidance of the clinical or therapy team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various HBOT therapy machines and equipment as per established protocols.
- Prepare therapy rooms, equipment, and required supplies before each session.
- Assist clients with positioning and preparation for therapy sessions.
- Monitor client comfort during sessions and report any concerns to the concerned therapist or clinical team.
- Follow all equipment, safety, hygiene, and operational protocols.
- Perform basic equipment checks and report technical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas after each session.
- Provide basic instructions to clients regarding the therapy process as directed by the therapy team.
- Maintain accurate session records and assist with basic documentation.
- Coordinate with therapists, doctors, care attendants, and front-office staff for smooth session flow.
- Maintain adequate stock of therapy-related consumables and supplies.
- Support the team in maintaining a professional, safe, and organized therapy workplace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12th Standard / Diploma (Medical Technology, Biomedical, or equivalent)/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.
- Technical, healthcare, wellness, physiotherapy, or therapy-related experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating therapy or medical equipment will be an advantage
- Basic technical understanding and ability to operate equipment carefully.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious approach.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
