We are looking for a passionate and competent TGT English Teacher to teach Grades 9 & 10 in a CBSE school. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and experience in preparing students for the CBSE Class X Board Examination.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to students of Grades 9 and 10 as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centric lessons.
- Cover English Language & Literature, grammar, reading, writing and communication skills.
- Prepare students effectively for the CBSE Class X Board Examination.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and study materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning setting.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Maintain student academic records and assessment data.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities and academic initiatives.




- Work collaboratively with the academic team to achieve learning outcomes.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- CTET Paper-II qualification will be preferred/required as applicable.
- 1–5 years of relevant teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/English-medium schools.
- Experience teaching Classes 9 & 10 is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and Class X Board examination pattern.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
- Proficiency in using technology/digital teaching resources.
- Passionate about teaching, mentoring and developing students.

Preferred Candidates Candidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:
- Prior experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience handling Class X Board batches.
- Demonstrated strong student/Board examination results.
- Experience in lesson planning, assessment design and remedial teaching.
- Ability to mentor and motivate adolescent learners.
