Textile & Rug Designer

Remote | Full-time / Freelance

TROOST is looking for a creative Textile & Rug Designer who understands trends, colours, patterns and global design aesthetics.

What you'll do:

- Research global textile, interior, fashion & design trends
- Turn inspirations and references into original rug prints and patterns
- Develop fresh design concepts and collections
- Create print-ready artwork for rugs
- Experiment with colours, motifs, textures and layouts
- Work closely with our team to develop new rug designs

We're looking for:

- Solid eye for design, colour and trends
- Experience in textile, surface pattern, print or rug design
- Proficiency in Illustrator & Photoshop
- Someone highly creative who can turn an inspiration into an original, commercially viable design

Portfolio is mandatory. Rug/textile work is preferred, but strong surface-pattern portfolios are welcome.
