Overview

This role is to lead Quality Assurance work for technology product build and management at TresVista. The role shall be integral part of product management team contributing to the development and success of TresVista's technology product portfolio. The incumbent will get an opportunity to find places where automated testing could be used, designing and executing QA steps, performing tests and locating bugs. The role will be responsible for installing the necessary frameworks that makes better automation possible.

The Assistance Product

Manager will work closely with other departments including non-technical team members to understand how automation testing can improve their processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

▪ Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

▪ Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

▪ Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities ▪ Designing, developing and executing automation scripts

▪ Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs

▪ Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

▪ Developing and applying testing processes for current and existing features to meet client needs

▪ Liaising with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

▪ Monitoring debugging process results

▪ Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts





▪ Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Prerequisites

▪ Understanding of front end (React, Angular) and Backend (node.js) technologies and how they work

▪ Understanding of existing automation testing frameworks

▪ Solid understanding and experience of QA principles

▪ Familiarity with Product Development Life Cycle and strong product management and technical skills having comfort in a fast-paced, Agile Scrum environment

▪ Experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript

▪ Familiarity with Appium or Selenium WebDriver, and testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber

Experience

▪ 5+ years of experience in software development or QA automation

Education

▪ Any Engineering/Computer equivalent degree
