EY Tech Consulting_Manager_Testing _Insurance Techno-functional

As a Techno-Functional Testing Manager, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.

Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have knowledge / experience in Guidewire Policy-Claims-Billing centre/ L&A; / Insurance domain and experienced in cloud implementations. Having PMP / PRINCE II certifications will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

- Deft knowledge on Agile SCRUM Methodology
- Experience in ETL / Conversion / Rating
- Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client.
- Clear understanding of GW cloud upgrade / greenfield implementations
- Experienced in GW CAA standards and audit processes for GW cloud projects
- Exposure to code coverage requirements for GW cloud implementations
- Candidates must have good experience in Automation and/or AI testing.
- Responsible for writing and executing the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
- Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.
- Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
- Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings.
- Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress




- Understand the framework features and commonly used tools for automation with detailed exposure to GW GT testing framework
- Experienced in implementation of Automation using GT framework for designated functions recommended in SurePath for all Xcenters
- Exposure to CICD execution processes for GW cloud using GW tools
- Realtime experience in mandatory cloud upgrades process / quality testing for (latest releases Innsbruck, Garmisch, etc)
- Positive understanding different level of automation and tool evaluation process
- Evaluate Automation test estimates
- Create and review automation test strategy
- Basic coding knowledge to understand automation project and facilitate issue resolution
- Complete understanding automation integrated with DevOps
- Basic exposure to Performance testing of Guidewire projects OnPrem / Cloud using commercial tools like Jmeter or Loadrunner

Qualifications
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- 14+ years of testing experience in in Guidewire Policy-Claims-Billing centre / Insurance domain with Agile methodology.
- At least 3 years of Project Management Experience in managing automation and Manual programs
- End to End view on test automation process including GW cloud
- Having PMP / PRINCE II certifications will be an added advantage
- Trained on Java, Selenium, BDD, Test caf, Karate API, Bitbucket, TeamCity

Ideally, youll also have
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
- Should be able to understand script logic and to help team to do scripting
- Experience in Selenium, Java and any other automation tool
- Should be ready to do an individual contributor
