: Payment Testing Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Payment Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in testing payment applications, banking/payment gateways, card payments, UPI, wallets, and transaction processing systems. The candidate should have strong functional testing experience and knowledge of payment ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
- Validate payment transaction flows including:

- Credit Cards

- Debit Cards

- UPI

- Net Banking

- Wallets

- Payment Gateways
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test documentation.
- Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders.
- Validate APIs, interfaces,



and backend transactions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills
- 5-8 years of Software Testing experience.
- Solid experience in Payment Testing.
- Knowledge of payment systems such as:

- Visa

- MasterCard

- UPI

- SWIFT

- Payment Gateway

- Merchant Acquiring

- Issuing
- Experience in API Testing using Postman/SoapUI.
- SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills
- Banking & Financial Services domain experience.
- Automation testing exposure (Selenium/Tosca) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messages.
- Experience in Card & Digital Payments projects.
