Role Description The Tendering Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for interior and related civil, electrical, and turnkey projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing tender documents, analyzing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate quantity take-offs, and developing detailed cost estimates and quotations.

Engineer collaborates with design, project, and procurement teams to gather pricing, validate technical compliance, and ensure competitive yet viable bids. The role involves coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for rates, preparing tender submissions, revising proposals based on client feedback,



and maintaining organized records of bids and contracts.

Engineer is expected to support negotiations, contribute to value engineering, and ensure that all tendering activities align with company standards, timelines, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Ability to prepare detailed and accurate quotations and cost estimates for interior and related engineering projects.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents, and to perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Experience in procurement , including sourcing materials, obtaining vendor quotations, and evaluating supplier terms for tenders.
- Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering or building services to understand technical requirements in interior and turnkey tenders.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related), Quantity Surveying, or a similar technical discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), basic estimation tools, and familiarity with reading architectural and MEP drawings.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tenders and deadlines in a rapid-paced project environment.
- Prior experience in interior contracting, construction, or fit-out tendering is preferred.
