Title: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Imports- Purchase & Logistic.Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Engineer Imports / Assistant Manager Imports to join our Operational Purchase and Logistics team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational procurement and import logistics activities, including purchase order execution, supplier coordination, import shipment management, customs clearance facilitation, logistics cost control, and MIS reporting. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production and business operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and international trade regulations. In this position, you will report to Laxman Singh.
This position is mainly located in Alwar, Rajasthan, India.

You will join Operational Purchase, dedicated to ensuring timely availability of imported materials and components for production and business operations. The team works on purchase order execution, supplier follow-up, import shipment coordination, customs clearance support,
inventory tracking, cost control, and management reporting.
We work closely with global suppliers, freight forwarders, Customs House Agents, Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Warehouse, PPC, and Production teams. Our team culture is built on ownership, proactive communication, collaboration, accuracy, and timely execution.
What you’ll do
Execute purchase orders for imported materials and components in SAP and ensure timely closure of delivery commitments.
Follow up with global suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, shipment readiness, and critical order expediting.
Coordinate import shipment bookings with freight forwarders and logistics service providers for air, sea, and multimodal shipments.
Monitor inbound shipments from supplier dispatch through final delivery and proactively resolve logistics bottlenecks.
Review import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List
