Project Manager - Technology
Location: Mumbai (Head Office) | Work from the office
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Gynoveda is India's first Ayurveda fertility healthcare company. 50+ clinics across India. 100+ doctors—20,000+ babies born through our treatment. We treat period health, PCOS, and infertility at the root cause, and we are expanding.
About the Role:
The architecture is decided. The agency builds. You make sure what they build is right.
You convert the blueprint into agency deliverables. You review the code and design that comes back. You catch what is wrong before it goes live. You run delivery sprint by sprint. You manage a team of two, a DevOps Engineer and a Website Specialist, and you work directly with the founders.
This role needs range, not one deep specialty. ERP, integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, websites. You have worked hands-on across most of these earlier in your career. Now you can review and question all of them without building any—one person, holding the entire stack accountable.
We run on off-the-shelf tools, configured well. Custom development is the exception. If your first instinct is to build from scratch, this role is not for you. If your first instinct is to check whether the vendor configured the existing tool correctly, apply.
What You Will Own:
- Technical review of all agency deliverables: code, architecture, quality gates
- The integration layer connecting our systems: specification, build oversight, testing, go-live
- Website platform evaluation, migration, and optimization
- Marketing technology integrations, validated with the marketing team
- Infrastructure decisions, executed through the DevOps Engineer
- Tool evaluation and recommendations across the stack
- Sprint tracking and delivery coordination with the agency
What You Will Not Own: Product roadmap. ERP workflow design. BI strategy.
Agency commercials. These sit with the founders and other leaders. You are the technical authority on delivery, not the strategist deciding what gets built.
What You Must Bring:
- 5 to 8 years in technology roles, minimum 3 years managing outsourced development teams or agencies
- Vendor review experience with proof: you have found real problems in agency code or architecture and can walk us through specific examples
- ERP implementation or configuration on any major platform (ERPNext, Odoo, Zoho One, SAP Business One, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or similar). ERP thinking matters more than the platform name.
- Database evaluation: schema design, query performance, MariaDB or Postgres familiarity
- Cloud infrastructure literacy, AWS preferred. Able to evaluate decisions even if not hands-on daily.
- Integration patterns: APIs, webhooks, ETL, event-based flows
- Experience where end users are non-tech staff in physical locations: clinics, hospitals, retail, warehouses
- Configure first. Build only when configuration genuinely cannot solve it.
This Role Is Not for You If:
- You manage timelines and status reports but have never personally reviewed vendor code or architecture
- You cannot recall a specific instance where you caught a vendor's technical mistake
- Your 90-day plan centers on building a current product or app
- You have only managed in-house engineering teams, never an agency or vendor
- You are a coder first. This role reviews and directs. It does not build.
- You have depth in one layer and no working knowledge of the rest
Why Join:
- One person's technical judgment governs the entire stack. That person is you.
- Founders sit in daily operations. Decisions move in days, not quarters.
- The systems you keep honest serve real patients across 50+ clinics.
- The network is expanding fast. The technology spine is being built now, under your watch.|
