Job Summary

*astTECS is looking for a Technical Support Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support for Asterisk-based PBX, VoIP, and Call Center solutions.

This role is suitable for candidates who have a strong interest in VoIP, Linux, networking, telecom, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and support Asterisk PBX, FreePBX, Vicidial, WebRTC, and Call Center Dialers.
- Troubleshoot SIP, VoIP, SIP Trunk, call flow, call quality, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support through phone, email, chat, remote access, and onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to DNS, NAT, routing, firewalls, and ports.
- Monitor system performance and identify technical issues.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and configuration changes.
- Use tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump for troubleshooting.
- Assist with IVR, AI voice bot, CRM, WhatsApp, SMS, and other integrations.
- Maintain proper documentation of technical issues, configurations, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Assist with client installations, deployment, and user training.
- Participate in rotational and after-hours support when required.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Asterisk, FreePBX, Vicidial, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux – Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, or Red Hat.
- Understanding of SIP, RTP, and SDP.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, routing,



and firewalls.
- Knowledge of networking and VoIP troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL/database systems is an advantage.
- Basic command-line and scripting knowledge is preferred.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive verbal and written communication skills.
- Hindi language is mandatory.

Eligibility

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Technical Support, VoIP, Telecom, Networking, or related areas.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and hands-on exposure may also apply.
- Willingness to work in rotational day/night/weekend shifts.
- Willingness to travel for client deployment, installation, training, and support.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
