Role Summary The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customer to ensure high renewal & customer satisfaction levels. Plans and modifies products to meet client needs
Researches and identifies potential clients for products or services.
Establishes new, and maintains existing, relationships with clients
Manages and interprets customer requirements
Persuades clients about the product that will best satisfy their needs
Visits prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
Attends to client complaints, if any KPI 1. Timely delivery of products
- Accurate documentation of customer requirements KRA 2 Bill Processing and Payments Responsibilities Ensure that all customer invoices are processed, planned in a timely manner
Work with the Accounts department to ensure payments come in before the credit period
Ensure there are no delays in payment in the planned credit limit and credit period
Tracks list of payments overdue drives its closure
Follows up on quotations raised
Ensure C form is duly filled and collected KPI Timely closure of customer invoices and apayments KRA 3 Partnering with Sales Team Responsibilities Partners with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Provides pre-sales technical assistance and product education
