Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and evaluate ocean freight rates from carriers and agents for import shipments.
- Prepare and present pricing quotations to customers, ensuring cost competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) to provide up-to-date and accurate pricing information.
- Monitor market trends and shipping line tariffs to optimize pricing strategies.
- Assist in negotiating rates with shipping lines to secure the best possible rates for the company.
- Maintain a database of ocean freight rates and regularly update it with current information.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding ocean freight pricing in a timely manner.
- Work closely with overseas agents to source competitive rates and solutions for import shipments.
Experience:
