Job Purpose Statement

As a specialist, operations, you will be responsible for our NNMi network monitoring tool. The role includes administration, operations and 24x7 support of escalations from the tier one operations team. You will be helping to onboard new devices and configure NNMi for effective fault detection and integration with our OMI event management system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administer NNMI network monitoring tool including discovery, installation, upgrades, device configuration, capacity planning and health monitoring.

2. Add recent devices to NNMI and configure their SNMP MIPs for effective monitoring.

3. Train tier one operations teams to support common NNMI issues

4. Be available 24x7 for NNMI issues when the tier one operations team needs to escalate. This situation is rare (historically less than once every month or two) but timely response is critical





Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge)

Good understanding of networking protocols

Good understanding of network devices and functions (e.g. switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)

Able to develop scripts in Python or Pearl

4+ years’ experience with NNMI

Salary: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
