Executes Talent Acquisition processes to meet the organizations staffing needs. Engages as a thought partner with the business to understand current and projected talent requirements, translating these into actionable strategies for identifying, attracting, assessing and selecting world-class talent. Work assignments may align with a specific geographical area and/or specialized recruiting discipline, including but not limited to campus / early career, executive, diversity, technical and/or contractor / contingent labor.
Takes ownership of the recruitment process from receiving approved requisitions up to candidate onboarding. Ensures that hiring activity is aligned to support business requirements and associated service level expectations. Formulates recruitment strategies employing diverse sourcing methods, conducts candidate screening and/or interviews, presents suitable talent to business leaders for consideration, and extends job offers.
Delivers a high-quality experience for both candidates and corporate stakeholders. Designs and manages staffing and recruitment programs, potentially including campus recruitment and internship initiatives. Upholds compliance with relevant corporate and governmental regulations.
Actively promotes the Unisys brand image to candidates and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides Talent Acquisition support for a specific function or defined area(s) of the organization
- May focus on broad-based Talent Acquisition or deliver results through Campus / Early Career or Contract Management efforts.
- Joins in local and/or broader Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as required. Talent Acquisition / External Recruiting
- Partners with assigned hiring leaders to assess and determine staffing needs and appropriate sourcing strategy,
- Creates and maintains job postings on internal and external websites, job boards, and social media sites
- Attracts, sources and screens applicants; keeping candidate experience top of mind
- Provides guidance to hiring leaders on appropriate sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
- Presents relevant suitable candidates to the hiring leader for consideration.
- Performs or ensures the performance of:
- In-person and/or telephone and video interviews,
- Reference and background checks,
- Interview participant coordination,
- Status follow-up, and Reporting and documentation.
- Effectively negotiates and closes candidate offers.
- Develops offers in line with approved guidelines.
- Manages and tracks the recruitment process and maintains appropriate candidate statuses for approved demand and pipeline requisitions in Workday; ensuring data accuracy and compliance with relevant recruitment policy and processes.
- May manage external recruitment agency engagement and performance.
Contract Management:
- Works with hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition colleagues to identify hard-to-fill, immediate placement and/or temporary assignments suitable for contract versus permanent hiring.
- Engages with contract companies, placement agencies and other sources to identify qualified candidates.
- Works with the business to structure assignments and define / implement work engagement agreements.
