About The Job:

- The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development, support, and maintenance of automation tools and asset management solutions.
- The role focuses on IT Operations, Asset Management, CMDB, ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and operational automation initiatives.
- The candidate will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to improve service delivery, reporting capabilities, and operational effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions:

- Optimize Asset Management systems using CMDB, ServiceNow, and related enterprise tools.
- Enhance reporting capabilities and streamline information flow across operational platforms.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Support service delivery teams in meeting and exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation tools that improve operational efficiency and process accuracy.
- Lead and mentor project teams by communicating goals, metrics, and performance expectations.
- Promote accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices.
- Drive innovation by introducing new methodologies, automation strategies, and process improvements.
- Leverage ITIL and Agile frameworks to improve operational workflows and service management processes.




- Analyze customer requirements and provide tailored asset management and operational solutions.
- Monitor solution effectiveness and ensure measurable business outcomes.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Support Technical Operations Factory Retrieval Systems (Rebus) activities and operational requirements.
- Participate in process reviews, audits, compliance activities, and governance initiatives.
- Contribute to operational transformation and automation programs across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 9 to 12 years
- Strong knowledge of Asset Management Services and Operational Management practices.
- Hands-on experience with CMDB platforms and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Service Management principles.
- Experience in tools development, operational automation, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of Technical Operations Factory Retrieval Systems (Rebus).
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience managing operational reporting, workflows, and service delivery metrics.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and develop technical teams.
- Experience working in enterprise IT operations and support environments.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery practices is preferred.
