Technical Assistant – Machine Shop

TREAT is looking for a motivated and hardworking Technical Assistant – Machine Shop to support Machine Operators and production activities. The selected candidate will assist in machine-related work, material handling, job loading and unloading, housekeeping and other technical support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Machine Operators in loading, unloading, clamping and handling of jobs, tools, jigs and fixtures.
- Support Machine Shop Operators in day-to-day production activities.
- Assist in setting up jobs and preparing materials as instructed by the Machine Operator or Supervisor.
- Help in loading and unloading raw materials, components and finished jobs.
- Assist in handling tools, jigs, fixtures and other machine accessories.
- Support machine-related activities and production operations as instructed.
- Clean burrs and sharp edges from components when required.
- Remove chips, scrap and unwanted materials from machines and the work area.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in and around all machines.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the Machine Shop and factory area.
- Segregate scrap and unwanted materials as per company procedures.
- Assist in the safe movement and handling of materials.
- Handle tools and equipment carefully and return them to designated locations after use.




- Follow instructions provided by Machine Operators, Supervisors and Managers.
- Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Wear mandatory PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, goggles and safety helmet.
- Carry out duties with discipline, responsibility and dedication.
- Assist in any other technical, production or operational work assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Qualification & Requirements

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Any relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in a Machine Shop or manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of machine shop tools and manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a factory environment.
- Willingness to learn and support multiple production activities.

Salary Freshers: Approximate take-home salary of ₹13,500 per month.

Experienced Candidates: Salary will be decided based on relevant experience, skills and performance.
