General Ledger & FP&A; Specialist:

Location: HiTech City, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 5+ years in General Ledger Accounting and FP&A;

Qualification: Preferably CMA / MBA / SemiQualified CA

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain monthly P&L; and Balance Sheet reports.
- We need immediate joiners or 30 Days notice
- Perform journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and recharge accounting.
- Execute month-end close and reporting activities within agreed timelines.
- Investigate P&L; variances and resolve mapping/reporting discrepancies.
- Perform reconciliations and analyze movements versus prior period, prior year, and forecast positions.
- Prepare financial commentary and management reporting packs.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting requirements for Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to explain balances, variances, and reporting outputs.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities.
- Maintain process documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

- Robust R2R/General Ledger accounting experience.
- Good understanding of accruals, prepayments,



reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ability to perform variance analysis and prepare business-facing commentary.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial analysis).
- Solid PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English B2).
- Experience interacting with business and client stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

- Exposure to management reporting or commercial finance reporting.
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems.
- Background in retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing businesses.
- Continuous improvement or automation mindset.

Candidate Profile

Must Have:

- Robust R2R foundation.
- Analytical mindset.
- Confident stakeholder communication.
- Ability to translate financial data into meaningful commentary.

Nice to Have:

- FP&A; or management reporting exposure.
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting packs.
