Teamcenter AWC (Active Workspace) Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter AWC Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Siemens Teamcenter solutions using Active Workspace (AWC). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter customization, AWC UI development, BMIDE, ITK/SOA, and PLM integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) applications.

- Configure and customize AWC user interfaces, commands, panels, styles, and workflows.

- Develop Teamcenter solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.

- Work with Teamcenter BMIDE for data model, business rules, LOVs, properties, and configurations.

- Develop and customize Teamcenter using ITK, SOA, and REST APIs.

- Implement Teamcenter workflows, lifecycle management, access controls, and business rules.

- Integrate Teamcenter with ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter/AWC application issues.

- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Collaborate with PLM architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders.

- Perform code reviews and ensure development follows Teamcenter and enterprise standards.

Required Skills





- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter.

- Strong experience in Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) development and customization.

- Experience with Teamcenter BMIDE.

- Positive knowledge of Teamcenter ITK and SOA.

- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills.

- Experience with Teamcenter workflows, lifecycle management, access control, and data modeling.

- Experience developing/customizing AWC commands, services, panels, and UI components.

- Good understanding of PLM concepts and Teamcenter architecture.

- Experience with REST/SOA-based integrations and enterprise applications.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Teamcenter Rich Client (RAC).

- Knowledge of Teamcenter Active Workspace versions and upgrades.

- Experience with CAD integrations such as NX, CATIA, or Creo.

- Experience with ERP/MES integrations.

- Knowledge of Java, C++, or .NET.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter development.

- 3+ years of hands-on AWC development/customization preferred.

- Experience working on enterprise PLM implementations, upgrades, or migrations is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
