Position Title: Legal Advisor
Department: Legal

Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research and Advisory:
- Provide legal guidance on business operations, contracts, and corporate governance.
- Research and analyze legal issues, case law, and regulations affecting the organization.
- Advise on the interpretation of laws and regulations and their implications for the organization.
- Contract Management:
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure that contracts are legally sound and aligned with organizational goals.
- Advise on contract disputes, obligations, and breaches.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide recommendations for mitigating them.
- Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Litigation Support:
- Advise on disputes and litigation, and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.




- Assist in preparing for legal proceedings, including gathering evidence and reviewing documents.
- Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions for staff on legal matters, including compliance, intellectual property, and contractual obligations.
- Raise awareness about legal issues and changes in law that affect the organization.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with external legal professionals, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in legal matters when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., Master of Laws (LL.M.), Bar Admission) are advantageous.
- Experience:
- At least 1 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
- Experience in contract law, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate governance is highly desirable.
