Role Overview
The Special Educator will be responsible for identifying, supporting, and enhancing the learning outcomes of students with special educational needs. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, parents, counsellors, and school leadership to ensure inclusive education and holistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify students with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or special educational needs through assessments and observations.
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide individual and small-group intervention sessions.
- Support classroom teachers with differentiated instruction strategies and accommodations.
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation as per school guidelines.
- Work closely with parents, counsellors,
and external professionals when required.
- Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for teachers and parents on inclusive practices.
- Monitor students’ progress and revise intervention strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/ICSE and inclusive education norms and policies.
- Promote emotional, social, and academic development of students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education:
- Certification recognized by RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) - mandatory
- Specialization in Learning Disabilities / Intellectual Disability / Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
Pay: ₹13,881.35 - ₹45,158.27 per month
