MAIN JOB PURPOSE

To provide strategic leadership and direction to the curriculum, quality and student support service functions within the school to enable and to facilitate the delivery of high quality education and training. To manage the curriculum areas of the school effectively to achieve high student outcomes and progression.





KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work effectively with the Principal and the Senior Management Team to ensure the strategic aims and objectives of the school are achieved.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that teaching, learning and assessment is consistently of high quality across the school;
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the curriculum review process and annual planning cycle to ensure the school curriculum is responding to student needs and evolves in line with national policy and school policy;
- Develop plans and strategies to ensure the school curriculum is continually reviewed and developed to ensure it uses most up-to-date tools and practices;
- Implement regular performance monitoring and accountability processes that ensure continuous improvement in student progress and outcomes;
