Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Redis, Kafka, and Microservices, complemented by solid architectural skills and preferably a strong background in the Telecommunications domain.

The role involves leading a team to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices. You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, ensuring best practices, and delivering mission-critical telecom applications that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-availability, low-latency telecom applications that are critical to core network operations and service delivery.
- Drive project planning and task delegation, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers/developers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Implement and manage Redis for caching and data storage.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based event streaming pipelines for real-time data processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and bugs.
- Optimize microservices for speed, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Contribute to the development of a robust and scalable architecture.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Apply telecom domain knowledge, particularly in 4G/5G/3GPP,



Policy & Charging, PCC, PCF, and PCRF.
- Optional: Experience in the telecommunications industry.

Required Skills & EKarenEricaxperience

Telecom Domain

- Understanding of 3G/4G and 5G networks and 3GPP specifications required for Policy & Charging Systems.
- Knowledge of Policy & Charging / PCC / PCF / PCRF is mandatory.

Java

- Strong understanding of Java programming principles and best practices.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java.

Spring Boot

- Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework, including:
- Spring MVC
- Spring Data
- Spring Cloud

Microservices Architecture

- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture, including:
- Design patterns
- Communication protocols
- Deployment strategies

- Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance microservices.

Redis

- Hands-on experience with Redis as a caching layer and data store.

Kafka

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven applications and streaming pipelines.

Database

- Experience with database technologies such as:
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL

Architecture

- Proven ability to design and implement scalable and robust architectures.

Leadership & Problem Solving

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers/engineers.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Communication & Teamwork

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.
