Role & responsibilities

- Drive Employee Welfare & Engagement initiatives across plant employees and workers.

- Manage plant canteen operations, food quality, hygiene, and vendor performance.

- Oversee township administration including residential facilities, housekeeping, sanitation, water supply, and common amenities.

- Manage Guest House operations ensuring superior hospitality and service standards.

- Ensure smooth functioning of office facilities and workplace services.

- Coordinate effective operation of Dispensary/OHC, health camps, and occupational health programs.

- Handle welfare-related grievances and ensure timely closure.

- Manage welfare service vendors and contractors through SLA/KPI monitoring.

- Ensure compliance with labour welfare, health, safety, and statutory requirements.

- Monitor welfare budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and MIS reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

- 12-15+ years of experience in Employee Welfare, Plant HR, Industrial Relations, Plant Administration, Employee Services, or Township Administration.





- Experience in Cement, Mining, Metals, Power, Chemical, Fertilizer, or other large manufacturing industries.

- Hands-on experience managing:

- Employee Welfare Programs

- Industrial Canteens

- Township Administration

- Guest House Operations

- Facility Management

- Occupational Health Centre (OHC) / Dispensary Coordination

- Employee Engagement Activities

- Strong understanding of labour welfare practices, statutory compliance, vendor management, and grievance handling.

- Proven track record of managing welfare budgets, service contracts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with workers, employees, contractors, union representatives, and senior management.

- Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with exposure to MIS reporting and service-level monitoring.
