Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., a Joint Venture between Tata Motors and Stellantis, is a leading automotive manufacturer producing vehicles such as Jeep Compass, Jeep Wrangler, Tata Nexon, Altroz, and Curvv (including EVs). The position is based at our manufacturing plant in Ranjangaon, Pune.

Experience: 4 to 10 Years

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune

Industry: AutomobileKey Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day vehicle assembly process activities.
- Improve cycle time, productivity, quality, and manpower utilization.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow documents.
- Conduct time studies and line balancing exercises.
- Implement and monitor torque tools, DC/battery-operated tools, and poka-yoke systems.
- Support new model launches, trials, and production ramp-up activities.
- Drive root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D;, and Tooling teams.
- Lead Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, rework, rejection, cycle time,



and line productivity.
- Support installation and commissioning of new assembly equipment and stations.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of 4-wheeler vehicle assembly processes.
- Experience in line balancing, time study, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and assembly tooling.
- Hands-on experience with torque tools, fixtures, and poka-yoke systems.
- Familiarity with DMU, AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Excel.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Eligibility: Minimum 4 years of experience in the automobile industry, preferably in vehicle assembly/manufacturing technology. Pay: ₹343,886.97 - ₹1,010,563.24 per year
