Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end GST and Income Tax compliances for our clients, represent the firm/clients in tax litigation matters, and conduct audits as assigned by the management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in direct and indirect tax compliance, a valuable understanding of tax laws, and the ability to independently handle assessments and departmental proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance

- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.)
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts
- GST registration, amendment, and cancellation procedures

- Handling GST refund applications
- Responding to GST notices and departmental queries

Income Tax Compliance
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (Individuals, Firms, Companies, Trusts, etc.)
- TDS/TCS return filing and reconciliation (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
- Advance tax computation and compliance
- Tax audit report preparation (Form 3CA/3CB-3CD)
- Handling income tax notices, rectifications, and refund follow-ups

Litigation & Representation
- Drafting replies to notices under GST and Income Tax Acts
- Preparing submissions for scrutiny assessments, appeals, and departmental hearings
- Appearing before GST and Income Tax authorities on behalf of clients
- Liaising with tax officers and handling departmental correspondence




- Assisting in preparation of appeal documents before Commissioner (Appeals)/ITAT/GST Appellate Authority

Audits
- Conducting statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and internal audits as assigned by the management
- Preparing audit working papers, checklists, and finalization of financial statements
- Vouching, verification, and compliance checks as per applicable standards
- Coordinating with clients for audit data collection and query resolution

General
- Maintaining proper documentation and client records
- Keeping updated with amendments in GST, Income Tax, and other applicable laws
- Coordinating with the internal team and reporting to management on assigned tasks
- Ensuring timely completion of all statutory compliances and deadlines

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Semi-qualified CA / CA Inter / CA Finalist / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience (CA firm experience preferred). Fully qualified CAs may also apply.
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm handling GST, Income Tax, and Audit work

- Skills Required:
- Sound knowledge of GST and Income Tax laws and procedures
- Working knowledge of Tally, GST portal, Income Tax e-filing portal, and MS Excel
- Good drafting and communication skills for litigation matters
- Ability to independently handle client interactions and departmental representations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
