We are looking for an experienced Capsule & Tablet Machine Operator with hands-on experience in granulation, tablet compression, and capsule filling operations. The candidate should be well-versed in operating production machinery, maintaining batch quality, following SOPs, and ensuring protected and efficient production.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Tablet Compression Machines and Capsule Filling Machines as per production requirements.
- Handle complete granulation activities, including wet/dry granulation as applicable.
- Operate granulation equipment such as Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG), Octagonal Blender, Multi Mill, FBD/Fluid Bed Dryer and related machinery.
- Perform sifting, blending, lubrication and granule preparation as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
- Set up, operate and adjust tablet compression machines for required tablet specifications.
- Operate capsule filling machines and ensure proper capsule filling, weight and appearance.
- Monitor machine parameters such as speed, pressure, fill weight, hardness and thickness as applicable.
- Perform machine changeover,
cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct in-process checks and immediately report any abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
- Ensure production is carried out according to SOPs, BMRs and GMP requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation, machine logbooks and production records.
- Ensure proper handling and identification of raw materials and in-process materials.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance and Production teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the production area and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating machinery.
- Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and routine inspection of machines.
- Ensure proper cleaning and line clearance before and after batches.
- Support the Production Supervisor in achieving daily production targets.
