Title: Tableau Server Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Tableau Server Administrator with 6–8 years of experience in installing, configuring, administering, securing, monitoring, and maintaining Tableau Server environments.

The candidate should have strong experience in Tableau Server administration, performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery, user access governance, authentication integration, network and security infrastructure, automation, and data environment concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Tableau Server environments.
- Manage Tableau Server users, groups, sites, permissions, and access policies.
- Configure authentication and integrate Tableau Server with enterprise identity platforms.
- Monitor Tableau Server health, availability, and performance.
- Perform performance tuning and capacity management.




- Troubleshoot Tableau Server application and infrastructure issues.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Perform regular backup validation and recovery testing.
- Manage security configurations and access governance.
- Collaborate with network and security teams for infrastructure requirements.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting and automation tools.
- Monitor server resources, services, and application performance.
- Support Tableau upgrades, patches, and workplace migrations.
- Work with data engineering and ETL teams to understand data environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
- Provide production support and participate in incident resolution.
