Industry IT / Software / ERP / CRM The System Engineer Functional (L2) role is a critical escalation point for issue analysis and resolution, focusing on deeper technical investigation, data integrity, and collaboration with development teams. This position requires solid SQL skills, product knowledge, technical knowledge, and the ability to work closely with both customers and coordination with L1 Support, L3 Development, IT, Product, and Support teams.

Responsiblity

- Analyze issues escalated by System Engineer –
- Functional (L1) and identify the root cause.
- Investigate application and database-level issues in detail.
- Resolve data-related issues efficiently while maintaining data integrity.
- Prepare SQL queries for data modifications or deletions and coordinate with the Support Lead for review and execution.
- Communicate with customers when additional information or clarification is required.




- Coordinate with the IT team to obtain customer database backups for analysis and testing.
- Replicate customer issues using backup companies/environments.
- Validate SQL queries and resolution steps before live implementation.
- Escalate development-related bugs to Software Engineers (L3) with detailed observations.
- Collaborate with Product Lead (L4) and Support Lead on recurring product issues.
- Support long-term solutions to improve product stability.
- Organize departmental/vertical meetings and prepare concise meeting reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of investigations, resolutions, and technical findings.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical/application support or a related role.
- Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of application and database-level issue analysis.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Good business/domain understanding.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and ticketing tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Perference Candidates with experience in ERP/CRM application support, L2 technical support, SQL-based troubleshooting, issue replication, and coordination with development teams are preferred.
