About the Role:

Telawne Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and strategic Head – Supply Chain Management to lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function for our transformer manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate should have 20–30 years of relevant experience, with substantial and proven experience specifically in the Transformer Manufacturing Industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless material availability, optimizing inventory and working capital, strengthening the vendor base, and driving supply chain efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall Supply Chain Management function for transformer manufacturing operations.
- Manage and oversee Procurement, Material Planning, Stores, Inventory, Logistics and Vendor Management.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components as per production and project requirements.
- Drive effective MRP, material planning and production-linked procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key vendors.
- Lead vendor development, evaluation, negotiation, performance monitoring and alternate-source development.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical transformer materials such as CRGO, copper/aluminium, transformer tanks, bushings, insulators, OLTCs, radiators,



fittings and other transformer components.
- Monitor supplier lead times, delivery schedules, quality issues and material shortages.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow to production and minimize production delays due to material constraints.
- Optimize inventory levels, working capital, material costs and procurement cycles.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and implement corrective actions.
- Lead Stores and Warehouse operations with proper material control, identification, storage and issuance systems.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and ensure timely movement of materials.
- Establish and monitor Supply Chain KPIs covering cost, delivery, inventory, vendor performance and material availability.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop appropriate contingency and alternate-source strategies.
- Drive cost reduction, process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Design, Projects, Sales and Finance teams.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Supply Chain team.
- Present supply chain performance, critical issues and improvement plans to senior management.
