Supply Chain Manager

Location:

at our Farm near Manesar

Department:

Operations & Logistics

Employment Type:

Full-Time

Reporting To:

Farm Manager

About Shroomery -

Shroomery is building one of India's most ambitious mushroom companies.

From cultivating premium gourmet mushrooms to developing functional mushroom extracts, we're creating a vertically integrated business spanning agriculture, food, wellness, and biotechnology.

Fresh mushrooms are highly perishable. That means our operational chain cannot have weak links.

A mushroom can be grown perfectly and still lose its value through poor harvesting, inefficient packing, incorrect storage, delayed dispatch, or a poorly planned delivery route.

We're looking for someone who can own that entire journey.

About the Role -

As the Supply Chain Manager

, you will own the operational flow of our fresh mushroom business from the moment a mushroom is ready to be harvested until the product reaches the customer.

You will manage

Harvest → Sorting → Packing → Storage → Inventory → Order Allocation → Dispatch → Routing → Delivery

This is a highly hands-on role combining post-harvest operations, packhouse management, inventory, logistics, fleet management, and field-team leadership

.

You'll manage both people and processes, work closely with Production and Sales, and build the systems required to make our operations reliable as Shroomery scales.

This role is for someone who enjoys being close to the action.

If you see a problem and immediately start thinking about how to fix the system behind it, rather than simply fixing the individual problem, you'll fit this role well.

What You'll Own -

1.

Post-Harvest Operations - Own the process from harvesting to dispatch readiness.
2. Packhouse & Packaging Operations - Own the entire packing operation at the farm.
3. Cold Storage & Inventory - Ensure that product is stored correctly and inventory remains accurate.
4. Order Compilation & Dispatch - Work closely with Sales and Operations to translate customer demand into daily operational requirements.
5. Logistics & Route Planning - Own the movement of products from the farm to customers.
6. Fleet Management - Own the operational readiness of the company's vehicles.
7. Driver Management - Build and manage a reliable driver network.
8. Employee Transportation - Where required, coordinate employee transportation between company locations, accommodation, farm, and other operational sites.
9. Documentation & Compliance - Maintain operational documentation across the entire farm-to-customer journey.
10. Process Design & SOPs - This is not a role where you simply inherit processes.
11. People Management - You will lead teams across the post-harvest and logistics functions. You'll be responsible for manpower planning, training, scheduling, performance management, and maintaining discipline across the function.

The Person We're Looking For - We're not looking for someone who simply knows logistics.

We're looking for an operator

.

You are someone who is comfortable moving between a farm floor, a packing area, a spreadsheet, a vehicle, and a customer issue without needing five different people to explain what needs to happen.

You naturally ask

"Why did this happen, and how do we prevent it from happening again?"

Preferred Qualifications -

- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Agriculture, Food Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, fresh produce, FMCG, agriculture, food processing, or similar environments.
- Experience managing field or frontline teams.
- Experience with fleet or delivery operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory and warehouse processes.
- Experience building SOPs and operational systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and operational reporting.

Experience in fresh produce, cold chain, food distribution, agriculture, horticulture, FMCG, or farm-to-consumer businesses will be strongly preferred. Working Location -

This role requires a solid on-ground presence.

The position is based between our Farm near Manesar

Candidates should be comfortable working in an active farm and food-production environment and managing field teams directly.

This is not a purely desk-based role

.

Interested?

If you're an operator who enjoys solving complex problems, building systems, managing people, and making things work better every day, we'd like to hear from you.
