Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Supervisor level candidate to join our growing firm! The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is focused, the candidate should have a solid work ethic and be a self-starter, and understand that the busy season for work often differs from a typical tax busy season.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 4 or 4+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
- Experience in Preparing/ Reviewing– 1040,1065(FLP’s),1041 tax returns
- Able to work on complex tax returns
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills




- Independent training and self-development, including researching and self-involving based on available resources
- Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
- Willing to work in office with team members / Supervisors or managers
- Willing to train the juniors in the team
- Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
- Ability to grasp new concepts
- Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

- Master’s degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
- EA, CPA, CPA candidate, CA or CA candidate
