Role Description The Structural Checker is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The role involves reviewing and verifying structural design and detailing drawings for pre-engineered buildings and steel structures to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include checking member sizing, connections, load paths, and steel detailing, coordinating with design engineers and detailers to resolve discrepancies, and updating documentation as needed.

Checker will also support quality control processes, assist in improving internal standards and checklists, and collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to address structural queries.



This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of structural behavior, and the ability to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in structural engineering principles, including steel design, load analysis, and structural behavior.
- Proficiency in reading and checking structural and fabrication drawings, including GA drawings, connection details, and shop drawings.
- Experience with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, AISC or similar), and their practical application in steel structures.
- Familiarity with design and detailing software such as STAAD, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of pre-engineered building systems, steel fabrication processes, and erection/installation practices.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, detailing, fabrication, and site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline); relevant experience in steel structures or PEB projects is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Hyderabad Area and manage multiple projects within agreed timelines.
