Role Summary The Store Manager owns the complete performance of the store — sales, profitability, inventory, team and customer experience — and reports directly to the Owner/Founder. This role is responsible for translating the brand's premium positioning into consistent revenue delivery across the sharply seasonal wedding-wear business, while building and leading a high-performing team of one Floor Manager and six Sales Executives.

- Performance Monitoring — Monitor daily sales, footfall, conversion and category-wise (lehenga/saree/indo-western) performance; take corrective action to close gaps to target.
- Inventory & Seasonal Planning — Plan stock buying/replenishment cycles with Head Office/wholesale supply well ahead of the wedding season to avoid stock-outs on fast-moving categories.
- Cost & Budget Management — Control operating costs — utilities, consumables, discretionary spend — against the store's budget.
- Team Leadership & HR — Hire, train, appraise and develop the Floor Manager and Sales Executive team; manage attendance, discipline, and performance reviews.
- Premium Client Relationship Management — Personally manage top bridal/VIP clients and high-value appointments; ensure the clienteling program is actively used to drive repeat and referral business.
- Brand & VM Standards — Ensure the store's visual merchandising, ambience and service levels are consistent with the brand's premium positioning at all times.
- Loss Prevention & Compliance — Track and control shrinkage, ensure accurate stock audits, and enforce SOPs on billing, returns, exchanges and cash handling.
- Statutory & Safety Compliance — Ensure statutory compliance (licenses, safety, labour norms) and protected store operations.
- Market & Competitor Awareness — Track competitor stores, pricing and market trends in the premium Indian womenswear category to inform merchandising and pricing decisions.
- Reporting to Owner — Prepare and present regular sales, inventory and team performance reports directly to the Owner/Founder.
