To manage day-to-day store operations including material receipt, stock maintenance, material issue, inventory control, documentation and Tally Prime entries, ensuring accurate and timely availability of materials.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (R&R;)
- Receive Raw Materials, Components, Tools, Consumables and Spare Parts.
- Verify incoming materials with Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Challan and Invoice.
- Prepare and maintain GRN / Material Receipt records.
- Enter and maintain purchase and inventory transactions in Tally Prime.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory data in Tally Prime / Excel.
- Issue materials to Production / Tool Room based on approved material requisitions.
- Maintain Material Issue Notes and stock movement records.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling and systematic storage of all materials.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase Department for replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with Tally Prime records.
- Maintain records for Raw Materials, Consumables, Tools, Spares and Finished Goods.
- Follow FIFO wherever applicable.
- Identify and report slow-moving, excess, damaged and obsolete materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts and Management for material-related activities.
- Support monthly / annual stock audits and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the Stores area.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability for all store transactions.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Perform any other store-related duties assigned by the Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Tally Prime – Mandatory
- Good knowledge of Inventory Management
- Tally Prime Purchase & Stock Entry knowledge
- Knowledge of GRN / Material Receipt / Material Issue
- MS Excel knowledge
- PO, Invoice & Delivery Challan verification
- Physical Stock Verification & Reconciliation
- FIFO & 5S knowledge
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
Experience: 2–5 years in Stores / Inventory
Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Engineering / Automobile / Tool Room
Key Requirement: Candidate must have practical knowledge of Tally Prime + Stores & Inventory Management.
