Role Summary:

Responsible for auditing raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory across steel fabrication units and electrical equipment warehouses, ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing losses, and supporting production/sales continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct physical verification of raw materials and Finished Goods against purchase, production and stock records
2. Audit WIP stock at fabrication stages (cutting, welding, assembly, finishing) for material wastage/scrap tracking
3. Reconcile physical stock with ERP/Tally records across multiple warehouses/branches
4. Travel regularly across multiple warehouse/factory/site locations to conduct physical stock audits
5. Track scrap generation vs. standard wastage norms in fabrication and report abnormal variances
6. Verify proper storage conditions (rust prevention, moisture control) for steel and sensitive electrical items
7. Check serial number/model number tagging for electrical goods to prevent mismatch or duplication
8. Coordinate with production, purchase,



and sales teams during stock counts
9. Prepare variance reports, aging stock reports, and slow-moving/non-moving stock analysis
10. Ensure compliance with material issue/return on shop floor
11. Support internal/external audits and statutory stock verification

12. Travel Requirement

Must travel regularly across multiple warehouse/factory/site locations for physical stock audits

Requirements:

1. BCom, BE Mechanical, BE Electrical preferred

1. 1–3 years' experience in stock audit within manufacturing, fabrication, or electrical trading
2. Working knowledge of ERP/Tally, and basic understanding of steel or electrical product categories
3. Ability to read BOMs, fabrication drawings, or material specification sheets (added advantage)
4. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables for reconciliation)
5. Willingness to work on shop floor/warehouse conditions and travel between sites as required
