Hirely is recruiting STEM Subject Matter Experts on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a fully remote chance supporting advanced AI evaluation and research projects.

We are looking for candidates with strong academic or professional backgrounds in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology . You will apply scientific knowledge, quantitative reasoning, and structured problem-solving skills to a range of analytical and interdisciplinary tasks.

What You'll Do

- Apply expertise in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, or related STEM disciplines to analytical tasks.
- Analyze complex problems and develop accurate, well-reasoned solutions.
- Apply quantitative reasoning and structured problem-solving methods.
- Work on open-ended and interdisciplinary problems where appropriate.
- Use mathematical modeling, scientific reasoning, or data analysis techniques when applicable.
- Review information and identify errors, inconsistencies, or logical issues.
- Communicate solutions and reasoning clearly and concisely.
- Follow detailed project guidelines and quality standards.
- Complete assignments independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Who We're Looking For

- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, or another relevant STEM field , or currently pursuing a STEM degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience through academic work, research, internships, projects, or professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of scientific and quantitative concepts.




- Ability to reason through unfamiliar or open-ended problems.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality work.

Relevant Experience Includes Relevant experience in scientific research, quantitative analysis, mathematical modeling, laboratory or experimental work, data analysis, STEM education or tutoring, academic research projects, scientific computing, engineering or technical problem-solving, and AI evaluation or data-related projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's or PhD-level STEM education.
- Research experience in a scientific or quantitative field.
- Experience with mathematical or computational modeling.
- Experience analyzing datasets or interpreting scientific information.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, data annotation, benchmarking, or training-data projects.
- Solid interdisciplinary problem-solving experience.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

- $75 per hour
