As a Technical Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, driving product initiatives in payment switch systems. You will define and prioritize product backlogs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards while monitoring system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Roadmap Management – Define, prioritize, and manage product backlogs for payment switch systems.
- Payment Switch Expertise – Drive product initiatives in transaction routing, settlement, and card processing.




- Technical Collaboration – Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers and testers.
- Compliance & Standards – Ensure adherence to ISO8583, EMV, PCI DSS, and other industry standards.
- Integration Management – Oversee integration with payment gateways, POS systems, and acquiring banks.
- Performance & Reliability – Monitor system scalability, reliability, and transaction throughput.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical squads.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or Product Manager in the payment switch domain.
- Hands-on technical background in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (manual or automation).
- Robust knowledge of transaction processing systems and ISO8583 messaging standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience
- Exposure to cloud-based payment infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 7–15 years of overall experience.
- Experience with retry logic, smart routing, and settlement systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices for product delivery.
