We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer / Backend Tech Lead to drive the architecture and development of high-scale, real-time data platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on distributed systems, streaming, data platforms, and AI-native engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Own backend architecture for high-scale, real-time data platforms.
- Lead technical design reviews and architectural decisions.
- Work with Kafka, ClickHouse, Druid, Spark and distributed systems.
- Design and build scalable streaming and OLAP solutions.
- Integrate LLM pipelines, AI agents, agent observability, and intelligent data modeling.
- Drive end-to-end delivery from design and development to production monitoring.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Champion engineering best practices, testing, CI/CD, and code quality.
- Collaborate with Product and distributed engineering teams.

Requirements





- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in backend/data platforms.
- Solid experience with distributed systems and high-scale backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, ClickHouse, Druid or similar technologies.
- Strong proficiency in one or more: Python, Go, Java, Scala, or Rust.
- Practical understanding of AI/ML, LLM pipelines, or AI agent systems.
- Experience with RAG, LLM applications, or agentic systems is a plus.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an AI-assisted engineering environment using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.

Good to Have

- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Exposure to LLMOps and production AI deployment.
- Experience building observability solutions for AI/agent systems.
