Core responsibilities

- Patient care: Assess patient health, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and assist with personal hygiene and comfort.

- Collaboration: Coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including symptoms, medical history, and treatment progress.

- Patient and family education: Provide information and counseling to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.

- Assisting medical staff: Help doctors during examinations and medical procedures, and participate in rounds with physicians and other staff.

- Compliance and safety: Ensure all care meets healthcare regulations and standards, and contribute to a safe and clean working environment.

- Assist with admissions and discharges.

- Participate in health education programs and in-service training.

- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

- Manage ward supplies, including tracking dangerous drugs and keeping inventories.
