Role Description This is a full-time remote SSIS role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services. The individual in this role will build and optimize data workflows, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources, and ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across PPStack’s learning and analytics platforms.

Daily activities include creating and scheduling SSIS packages, troubleshooting and resolving data and performance issues, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to support reporting and business intelligence needs, and documenting technical solutions and deployment procedures. The role also involves monitoring production jobs,



implementing best practices in data governance and security, and contributing to continuous improvement of PPStack’s data architecture.

Qualifications

- Strong SSIS and ETL development skills, including designing, implementing, and optimizing SSIS packages for complex data workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and database performance tuning for large-scale data environments.
- Experience working with data integration from diverse sources (files, APIs, cloud services, relational databases) and managing data quality and validation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and business intelligence/reporting ecosystems.
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines for data solutions, and deployment automation in a modern data stack.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote, distributed workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in EdTech, analytics for learning platforms, or data solutions for education and career services is an advantage.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (such as Azure or AWS), data security best practices, and compliance in handling learner and organizational data is beneficial.
