Qualifications

- Skills – SRE (4–9 years)

- Enhance service reliability by reducing incidents, improving stability, and ensuring high availability

- Strengthen observability to reduce MTTR, improve proactive detection, and enable data-driven operations

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)

- Build and maintain observability stacks (Splunk, Prometheus, SignalFx, New Relic)

- Automate operational tasks using IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)

- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably EKS)

- Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure service reliability

- Design HA and DR patterns using auto-scaling, active-passive failover, and cross-region retry-safe microservices

- Contribute to SRE initiatives like Observability as Code, Resilience Engineering, HA/DR, Toil Reduction, CUJ & SLO tracking

- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems

- Collaborate with development teams to improve system design and deployment strategies

- 4+ years of experience in an SRE role

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Serverless, S3, VPC, DynamoDB)

- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go)

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (Splunk, New Relic, SignalFx)

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration

- Familiar with incident management and disaster recovery planning





- Good knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka/SQS)

- Bonus: Knowledge of backend technologies like Java, Node.js, or Python

Certifications

- SRE I: AWS Cloud Practitioner or Terraform certification

- SRE II: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified Developer / Terraform Associate Certificate or equivalent

- SRE III: Certified in more than one of the aforementioned areas
