Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Automation Testing with strong expertise in C#, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks.

Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using C#, .NET, Selenium, NUnit/xUnit/MSTest.

Strong experience in automating Web Applications, APIs, and Enterprise Applications across complex environments.

Proficient in implementing automation solutions using Page Object Model (POM), Page Factory, Data-Driven, Hybrid, and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber).

Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Case Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Management, Defect Management, and Configuration Management.

Strong scripting and programming skills in C#, with knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

Experience in integrating automation suites with Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience in API Automation Testing using tools and frameworks such as RestSharp, Postman, or similar technologies.

Experience in executing automated regression, smoke, sanity, integration, end-to-end, and cross-browser test suites.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.

Experience in testing large-scale web applications, distributed systems, client-server applications, and cloud-based solutions.

Ability to analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.





Experience in creating and maintaining reusable automation components, utilities, and libraries to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing concepts is an added advantage.

Experience with browser automation tools such as Selenium Grid, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium is desirable.

Familiarity with Azure cloud services, containerized environments, and modern DevOps practices.

Robust understanding of databases with hands-on experience in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for backend validation and data verification.

Experience in version control systems such as Git, Azure Repos, or SVN.

Ability to review automation code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior automation engineers.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional, and globally distributed team environment.

Proven experience in providing recommendations for automation process improvements, quality engineering practices, and test optimization strategies.
