Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Cloud Security Architect to join the Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC) as a technical Security Subject Matter Expert (SME). This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical security role, not a compliance or GRC position. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Security, and Architecture teams to support consulting, customer audits, security assessments, technical reviews, executive briefings, and evidence-based engagements for Genesys Cloud.

As one of the team's technical security SMEs, you will apply your expertise in cloud security, AI security, and security controls to explain and defend the Genesys Cloud security, privacy, and compliance posture. You will interpret technical evidence, respond to complex security inquiries, defend security contractual terms, and engage directly with customers, partners, auditors, and executive stakeholders within the APAC region.

This role is highly consultative and requires excellent English communication and presentation skills. You will regularly represent Genesys Cloud during customer executive briefings, security workshops, webinars, conferences, partner events, and industry forums. You must be comfortable presenting complex technical security concepts to audiences ranging from security practitioners and architects to CISOs, CIOs, and other senior executives, both remotely and in person, to any of our global customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead customer-facing security discussions with customers, prospects, partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders on Genesys Cloud architecture, penetration testing, vulnerability management, remediation, privacy, compliance, and AI security.
- Provide technical consulting that maps Genesys Cloud security capabilities and controls to customer security, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
- Develop, validate,



and present technical evidence demonstrating the effectiveness of controls across identity and access management, encryption, key management, network security, logging, monitoring, incident response, application security, AI security, and secure software development.
- Deliver technical deep dives, security workshops, and executive briefings for audiences ranging from security practitioners and auditors to CISOs, CIOs, and senior business leaders.
- Own complex customer security, privacy, and compliance matters and contractual security negotiations.
- Represent Genesys at strategic customer engagements, partner events, conferences, webinars, and industry forums across APAC, contributing to external security thought leadership. This Role Offers

Minimum Qualifications

- Expert-level experience designing, implementing, assessing, or defending security architectures and controls for enterprise cloud or SaaS platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS security, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong vulnerability-management and application-security expertise, including penetration testing,



secure SDLC, CI/CD security, SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, Infrastructure as Code security, remediation, and risk-based prioritisation.
- Proven experience with AI technologies and AI security, including generative AI, large language models, AI governance, AI risk management, and emerging Frontier AI threats to AI-enabled platforms.
- Experience interpreting and defending technical security evidence, architecture diagrams, policies, penetration testing results, and other security artefacts.
- Proven experience leading customer security assessments, technical workshops, executive briefings, and discussions with enterprise customers, auditors, and engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly to both technical and executive audiences, supported by excellent analytical, consulting, writing, and presentation skills.
- Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally as required. Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Experience securing microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with security automation, detection engineering, or modern Security Operations.

- Professional speaking experience at conferences, webinars, customer events, or technical forums.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.

- Experience supporting regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, government, or critical infrastructure.
- Fluency in an additional language, preferably Japanese or Korean.
