Position: Senior QA Engineer / Lead QA

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven QA professional to collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing and implementing new systems and applications for proprietary analytics platforms. The candidate will assess business requirements and work closely with development and deployment teams to ensure the highest quality in product delivery.

As a Functional QA Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing software quality through comprehensive functional and automation testing. You will identify, report, and track software defects, and ensure alignment between specifications and system behavior.

This role requires frequent interaction with project managers, product managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a world-class compliance solution.

Qualification & Job Responsibilities

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 8 years of overall experience in Software Testing.
- Design and develop detailed test scenarios and test cases for product features and releases.




- Execute test scenarios and test cases during formal test cycles for each release.
- Prepare release QA test plans, test strategies, and manage defect reporting for large-scale applications.
- Build, review, and execute complex test scenarios across both manual and automated testing.
- Perform Functional, Smoke, Regression, System Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, and BDD Cucumber framework.
- Perform backend API testing using Postman and Rest Assured for GET, PUT, POST, and DELETE operations.
- Conduct cross-browser testing for web-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Zephyr Scale (Jira App) is a strong plus.
- Experience with traditional databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Snowflake is a strong advantage.

- Extensive experience working in Agile environments using Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Robust experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Good understanding of CI/CD processes; experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Prior exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
